About the Role

This internship is located in the Secretariat of the UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons (UNVTF), managed by the Co-financing and Partnership Section within the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna. Under the supervision of the Chief of Section and the External Relations Officer, the intern will:

โœ๏ธ Support the development of communication materials (print products, articles, human-interest stories, video scripts) highlighting UNVTF's impact and the work of grantees

๐Ÿ“ฑ Manage digital communications, including drafting and scheduling content for social media and maintaining the UNVTF website

๐Ÿ“‹ Assist in the full cycle of the UNVTF Call for Proposals, including terms of reference, launch coordination, application screening, and shortlisting

๐Ÿ“Š Track grantee progress, monitor reporting compliance, and serve as a point of contact for grantees

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Coordinate administrative tasks (travel, meetings, procurement, filing) and maintain accurate programme records

๐ŸŽช Support the planning and execution of UNVTF events, and draft and edit project reports, briefing notes, donor reports, and funding proposals

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŽ“ Enrolled in or having recently completed a graduate programme, or in the final academic year of a first university degree, in a closely related field

๐Ÿ’ป Computer literate (especially Word, PowerPoint, Teams); the ability to draft news articles or social media posts is desirable

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Fluency in spoken and written English is required; another UN official language is an advantage
