โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
The CO-A-CH-IN-G (Coaching Crisis Aid) training course is an international capacity-building initiative designed to empower those who support others in the field of non-formal learning and youth work. The program addresses a critical challenge in the volunteer and youth sectors: high burnout rates and premature dropouts. By equipping youth leaders with innovative crisis coaching methodologies, the training aims to shift organizational cultures from simply "giving orders" to truly empowering young volunteers, building their long-term resilience and mental well-being.
Hosted in the peaceful spa town of Busko-Zdrรณj, Poland, this 5-day intensive program combines neuroscience, practical psychology, and interactive coaching tools to help educators and coordinators handle personal and systemic crises within their youth cohorts.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum bridges theory and practice through non-formal learning environments, focusing on four core pillars:
Crisis Management: Recognizing psychological crises and applying the RAPID model alongside Psychological First Aid.
Neuroscience & Well-being: Understanding Polyvagal Theory, the autonomic ladder, and the 5-sphere PULSE model for stress regulation.
Motivation & Engagement: Applying Self-Determination Theory and SMART goals to keep youth volunteers intrinsically motivated.
Inclusion & Soft Skills: Utilizing the FUZZY Protocol for de-escalation, neuro-inclusive support, and empathetic conflict resolution (SBI model).
