🔷 Activity Details

Description

The Europe House in Nîmes – Europe Direct would like to host a volunteer for a project of 12 months in Nîmes, a south-east city of France. The volunteer will take part to the activities of the Europe House to inform citizens of our departments of Gard and Lozère about current events and projects about the EU and more specifically mobility programs for young people. The aim of the project is to facilitate intercultural exchanges between the volunteers and the local community. Most of the activities of the volunteer will be linked with European youth work, the animation and the information on current events of the EU and organizing intercultural events with other volunteers. Furthermore, she/he will be in charge of animating our social networks.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be hosted in a shared flat close to the city centre with his/her own bedroom, close to shops. The volunteer will have occasionally to move for her/his activities with the Europe House, in that case the Europe House will organize everything. The volunteer will receive a daily allowance of 8€ for pocket money and 8€ for food (2 times a week possibility to eat to the canteen). The volunteer will work up to 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5pm. In exceptional circumstances, they may be required to work at the weekend or in the evenings.
