Description
Are you ready to make a difference, grow personally, and explore Turkish culture? Engage with local students by sharing your experiences, inspiring them, and supporting educational activities, or join our media center to develop content creation, video editing, photography, and digital storytelling skills. Volunteers can also use our professional TV studio and radio stations to gain broadcasting and audio production experience. Enjoy our sports and arts facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, basketball court, and guitar, piano, violin, and bağlama courses. You will also distribute humanitarian aid, provide psychosocial support to refugees and earthquake victims, and join environmental activities in our forest area, including tree planting, maintenance, and nature protection. The project runs year-round with flexible starting dates, and we recommend staying at least 2 months to fully live the experience. We are looking for available volunteers ASAP.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will stay in shared rooms (2 people per room), with boys and girls accommodated separately. The accommodation is safe, comfortable, and fully equipped, and is located right next to our foundation. Three meals are provided daily. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC distance bands. Visa and residence permit expenses will be covered. Airport transfers are provided upon arrival and departure. Volunteers will receive health insurance through Henner.
Training during the activity
Develop key skills such as creativity, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. Take part in induction sessions to become familiar with Turkish culture, local community values, and project activities. Participants will gain project coordination experience by taking active roles in the projects. They will also benefit from Turkish language courses and English-speaking clubs. Training includes media production using our media studio and radio stations, as well as creative workshops in art, music, and sports coaching. Volunteers will receive continuous guidance and much more.
