The Opportunity

GGGI is looking for a talented individual to work in the Department of Development Finance (DDF), Financial Strategic and Cooperation Unit (FSCU), providing operational support to the budget unit, specifically in relation to its day-to-day activities. The assignment will include, but is not limited to:

๐ŸŒ Support carbon assessment for the pipeline targeting Global Voluntary Carbon Market (GVCM) transactions

๐Ÿ“Š Assist in preparing briefing materials and presentations, organising meetings and events, maintaining databases, and supporting knowledge management and communications activities for the GVCM

๐Ÿค Support administrative and engagement activities with the Community of Practice โ€“ Direct Access Entity (CP-DAE) Committee

๐Ÿ“ Support the development of the CP-DAE Readiness proposal

Eligibility

๐ŸŽ“ Be enrolled in a Bachelor's (final year), Master's, or PhD program prior to the internship assignment, or be a recent graduate within the last 12 months

๐Ÿ“š Be engaged, or recently engaged, in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute's work

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Possess an excellent command of English

Qualifications

๐ŸŽ“ Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Development, Public Policy, or a related field

๐Ÿ” Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to support coordination, documentation, and operational activities in a multicultural environment

๐Ÿ’ป Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a demonstrated ability to draft and review professional documents in English

Terms and Conditions

๐Ÿ’ถ Stipend: GGGI interns receive a monthly stipend of USD $500 (unless funded by a sponsoring institution). All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by the intern or their sponsoring institution.

๐Ÿ›‚ Visa: GGGI will provide a supporting letter for the visa; interns are responsible for obtaining and financing the necessary visas

โœˆ๏ธ Travel: interns arrange and finance their own travel to the internship location
