The Opportunity

The assignment will include, but is not limited to:

๐Ÿ“Š Support the monitoring of GGGI's global portfolio by consolidating program and project data, tracking progress against targets, and identifying key risks or issues

๐Ÿ“ˆ Assist in preparing high-quality reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for senior management and internal decision-making

๐Ÿค Coordinate with country and regional teams and internal units to track deliverables, follow up on action items, and ensure alignment with organisational processes

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Support knowledge management and process improvement by organising documentation, maintaining trackers, and contributing to guidance materials

๐ŸŽช Provide operational and logistical support for DED-DGGI corporate events, executive meetings, workshops, and high-level engagements, including meeting coordination, preparation of materials, participant communication, and on-site support

Eligibility

๐ŸŽ“ Be enrolled in a Bachelor's (final year), Master's, or PhD program prior to the internship assignment, or be a recent graduate within the last 12 months

๐Ÿ“š Be engaged, or recently engaged, in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute's work

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Possess an excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Qualifications

๐ŸŽ“ Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Statistics, International Development, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline

๐Ÿ” Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative information into clear insights

๐Ÿ’ป Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI is an asset

๐Ÿค Effective communication skills, the ability to think critically, organise ideas clearly, and work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

Terms and Conditions

๐Ÿ’ถ Stipend: GGGI interns receive a monthly stipend of USD $500 (unless funded by a sponsoring institution). All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by the intern or their sponsoring institution.

๐Ÿ›‚ Visa: GGGI will provide a supporting letter for the visa; interns are responsible for obtaining and financing the necessary visas

โœˆ๏ธ Travel: interns arrange and finance their own travel to the internship location

๐Ÿฉบ Medical insurance: interns must present proof of valid medical insurance upon returning the signed contract

๐ŸŽ“ Academic credit: interns may obtain academic credit from their institution, subject to their university's policy
