L'organizzazione d'accoglienza è un'associazione nonprofit che svolge la sua attività a Murcia ed è pioniera nella raccolta, riutilizzo e riciclaggio d'oggetti e materiali di seconda mano. Ha creato un'impresa sociale che dà lavoro a persone emarginate o a rischio d'esclusione, con l'obiettivo di reinserirle nella società. L'attività in cui sarai coinvolto maggiormente è il progetto "Libreria circolare", con i seguenti cómpiti: classificazione dei libri donati; accoglienza al pubblico e illustrazione degli obiettivi dell'attività; procedure di cassa e registrazione delle vendite in negozio; gestione completa delle vendite online (e-commerce); creazione di contenuti e gestione della visibilità sulle varie piattaforme internet; organizzazione d'eventi; rapporti con gli autori dei libri, e le case editrici e di distribuzione. Altre aree in cui potrai operare sono la visibilità dell'organizzazione e dei suoi obiettivi, e l'azione diretta d'accompagnamento ai beneficiari.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in una stanza a Murcia, in un appartmento che condividerai con altri volontari e dotato di tutto il necessario. Ogni mese riceverai un'indennità di 186 euro per le spese personali, e un'altra di 184 euro per l'acquisto di generi alimentari. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Spagna ti sarà completamente rimborsato. Se dovrai spostarti dentro Murcia potrai scegliere tra la bicicletta e l'abbonamento dell'autobus. L'orario dell'attività oscillerà intorno alle 38 ore settimanali. Un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di incidenti o malattie.
Training during the activity
In quanto volontario europeo avrai tre momenti formativi ufficiali: una formazione prepartenza prima di lasciare l'Italia, un meeting poco dopo l'arrivo in Spagna e un altro grande incontro a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Questo progetto, oltre all'attività di gestione dei libri usati, ti permetterà di conoscere diverse modalità di reinserimento sociale di persone emarginate o a rischio d'esclusione, e di comprendere bene come esse non siano soggetti da allontanare, ma individui con cui è possibile condividere il lavoro e la vita sociale. Il progetto ti farà crescere dal lato umano.

Serve spirito d'iniziativa, entusiasmo, responsabilità e condivisione dei valori dell'organizzazione d'accoglienza, in particolare inclusività e libertà d'espressione. Sarebbe fantastico se ti stessero a cuore l'ambiente e il tema del riciclaggio dei materiali, altri pilastri del progetto. Inoltre, un certo livello (anche basico) di conoscenza della lingua spagnola sarebbe ben gradito, in quanto faciliterebbe la conversazione.
