Are you ready for an unforgettable ESC volunteering experience in Bolu, Türkiye? The Bolu Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports is looking for dynamic and motivated volunteers for our 2-month 'Youth and Sport Volunteers' project! During your stay, you will not merely be a participant, but a core contributor to our local community. Your main missions will include assisting our local coaches during sports training sessions , designing and leading your own weekly social clubs in English (such as fine arts, music, or discussion groups) , and actively promoting the Erasmus+ and ESC programs to local youth. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay: safe accommodation at the TOHM Dormitory (featuring 3 meals a day, a gym, and social areas) , a monthly pocket money of 180 Euros , travel reimbursement , and full HENNER insurance. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We are delighted to host you at the secure TOHM Dormitory, featuring a gym, shared kitchen, and cozy social areas. You will be provided with three meals a day. Travel expenses (based on the ESC distance band) will be reimbursed at the beginning of the project upon providing your travel documents. Additionally, you will receive a monthly pocket money of 180 EUR to support your personal expenses in Bolu.
Training during the activity
You will gain hands-on experience by assisting our professional coaches in sports training. Since sports have a universal language, you will integrate easily. For language development, we encourage you to learn Turkish through non-formal methods and daily interactions. We will also hold weekly face-to-face reflection meetings to track your progress and assist you. You will also improve your leadership skills by running your own speaking clubs.
Participant profile
We are looking for highly motivated volunteers who are eager to genuinely contribute to our local community. You should have a strong interest in youth, sports, environment, culture, or education. We need proactive individuals excited to assist local coaches during sports training and capable of leading weekly social clubs in English based on personal skills (arts, music, discussions).
