🚀 Project Mission & Objectives
🎯 The main mission of GAP Genclik Dernegi is to empower young people and foster intercultural understanding in the Southeastern Anatolia region. 🌍 Volunteers will be deeply involved in the daily activities of the association, working directly with children and refugee communities. 🕊️
💡 During this mission, you will help implement workshops using Non-Formal Education (NFE) methodologies. 🧩 You will have the chance to develop your own projects, gain competences in quality management, and discuss potential challenges in social work. 🤝 This is more than a volunteer service; it is a laboratory for professional and personal growth in a multicultural setting. ❤️
🛠️ Your Role and Daily Tasks
🏘️ Accommodation and Life in Şanlıurfa
🛌 Volunteers will stay in a shared house with 7-8 other international volunteers, fostering a truly multicultural living environment. 🌍 Rooms are shared between 2-3 people, and the house is fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities, and high-speed Wi-Fi. 📶 All necessary items like pillows, blankets, and bed linens are provided. 🏡
💶 In accordance with the ESC program rules, volunteers will receive food money and monthly pocket money paid in cash. 🍽️ Travel costs from your home country to Şanlıurfa will be reimbursed based on the distance band. ✈️ Living in this ancient city will allow you to experience deep history and a very warm local hospitality. ☕

📚 Training and Learning
🎓 Education is a priority! Volunteers will attend an on-arrival training organized by the National Agency. 🇹🇷 Additionally, GAP Genclik Dernegi will provide language courses to help you communicate with the local youth and fully integrate into social life. 🗣️
🛠️ Through hands-on practice, you will develop skills in conflict resolution, multicultural team management, and social inclusion strategies. 📜 At the end of your mission, you will receive a Youthpass certificate to validate the competencies you've gained. 💡
