โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
Through interactive training sessions focused on the quality of Partnerships for Cooperation projects (including Small-scale Partnerships (KA210) and Cooperation Partnerships (KA220)), participants will strengthen their project development skills and gain practical support in transforming ideas into impactful international projects.
This training course is part of a strategic Training and Cooperation Activity that includes both national and international phases. During the national phase, participants explore the basics of Erasmus+ KA2 projects and begin developing their project ideas. The international phase focuses on enhancing project quality, with a continued emphasis on creating meaningful and lasting impact through Erasmus+ projects.
Throughout the process, participating organizations receive tailored support to develop high-quality Erasmus+ KA2 projects in the youth field. During the training course in Latvia, participants are guided by experienced trainers and representatives from several National Agencies, while also building international partnerships and exchanging ideas.
Aim and objectives:
To improve the quality and impact of Erasmus+ KA2 Partnerships for Cooperation projects in the youth field (Small-scale Partnerships KA210 and Cooperation Partnerships KA220).
Specific objectives:
To strengthen participantsโ competences in creating sustainable, long-term impact through strategic communication, dissemination, and stakeholder involvement, while exploring the quality principles of KA2 projects;
To support participants in developing impactful KA2 projects in an international context;
To explore Erasmus+ KA2 projects through practical examples, experience sharing, and consultations with National Agency representatives, supporting participants in developing high-quality projects based on real needs.
The international training course is intended for 30 participants from Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Malta and Iceland.
What do we expect from the participants?
- Are actively involved in youth work;
- Are connected to an organisation, institution or structure that aims to create a positive impact in the youth field;
- Come from an organisation with the capacity to carry out a long-term project;
- Have a clear and realistic idea of how to strengthen their organization's capacity in the youth field through the implementation of a KA2 project;
- Plan to apply by the upcoming Erasmus+ deadlines;
- Have the support of their organisation to design and develop the project application;
- Come from one of the countries participating in Cross Over for Impact 2026;
- Are able to communicate and learn in English;
- Agree to take part in the national phase organized by the National Agency in their country of residence before the international phase;
- Are able to participate for the full duration of the international training course (international phase).
In addition to the mandatory requirements, the following criteria will be considered an advantage:
- Have experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects;
- Have experience with the Erasmus+ programme (not necessarily in KA2);
- Have previously submitted unsuccessful KA2 applications in the youth field;
Dates and Venue
The training course will take place in Jurmala, Latvia (detailed information about the venue will be provided at a later stage).
For travel to Latvia, please check your options with your National Agency to reach Riga by plane, bus or other means of transport. Please note that the training course will take place in Jurmala but the closest airport is in Riga.
Participants travelling from a distance of up to 500 km are encouraged to use green travel options.
Participants are expected to arrive in Latvia on 14 September and reach the venue in Jurmala before dinner (18:00), arranging their own transfer (detailed instructions will be provided). Departure is scheduled for 19 September after breakfast. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Participation fee
This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
Accommodation and food
Agency for International Programs for Youth ( (Latvian National Agency for Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programmes) will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.
Travel reimbursement
Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
