โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
Discrimination appears when people are treated unfairly or unjustly based on characteristics like ethnicity, age, gender, disability or other aspects. Young people facing discrimination often deal with uncertainties about their future due to political populism, social exclusion, and fake news. These challenges can make it hard for young people to find equal opportunities in education and jobs, and they might feel left out or unfairly judged. This can lead to feelings of isolation and a lack of confidence in society.
Political populism can make things worse by spreading divisive messages that target marginalized groups. This not only increases discrimination but also makes it seem acceptable to some, making it harder for young people to imagine a fair and equal future. Social exclusion further isolates young people, cutting them off from important resources and support. This can create a cycle of poverty and marginalization, making it even tougher to overcome discrimination.
Join our ErasmusPlus project to learn more about these issues and how to combat them through raise awareness campaigns! Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all young people. These are our proposed objectives:
1. Developing the competences of 30 youth workers to organize successful and efficient awareness campaigns aiming to promote tolerance through developing media literacy and critical thinking;
2. Enhancing the capacity of 10 NGOs to become active against hate speech and discrimination in their local communities and online by following the No Hate Speech Youth Campaign guidelines and methods;
3. Developing an efficient network of youth workers is by creating a sharing space, where we can exchange good practices, efficient tools, and improve our services and internationalization, which will empower youth workers to better support young people facing discrimination.

Accommodation and food
Everything will be covered (meals, coffee-breaks, materials, trainers, etc.). Please check the info-pack for more details.
Travel reimbursement
The project is co-founded by Erasmus+ Programme.
Accommodation, food, traveling, materials, visa costs
are fully covered.
All tickets are booked and bought only after the approval of COSI's staff. Only previously approved travel expenses will be reimbursed, so please do not buy any tickets until this has been agreed with the hosting organization.
Participants are asked to keep all of the original tickets, boarding passes, receipts/invoices which will be collected during the training.
The reimbursement process will take place after the mobility, within approx. 30 days, to the partner organisation bank account.
However, we will reimburse participants after: collecting all the travel documents (tickets, boarding passes, invoices), filling the reimbursement form, filling the final Mobility Tools online evaluation, and only if the participants were actively involved in the whole duration.
We don't know yet the partners, only after participants are being selected their organisations will become project's partners, therefore, we will use the distance between the location of the NGO to Bucharest in order to calculate the maximum travel budget.
The max. travel budget limit is:
10 โ 99 km 28 EUR (56 EUR Green Travel);
100 โ 499 km 211 EUR (285 EUR Green Travel);
400 - 1999 km 309 EUR (418 EUR Green Travel);
2000 - 2999 km 395 EUR (535 EUR Green Travel).
๐ Certificate
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
