This community centre is run by the ACCOORD, a popular education association providing educational, social, and cultural activities for local residents. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
*Housing : The future volunteer will be provided with a room in a shared house alongside other volunteers (single or shared room, depending on the recruitment). The house is conveniently located near a supermarket and a bus stop, allowing quick access to the city centre. *Food allowance and pocket money : As outlined in the information kit, the volunteer will receive โฌ8 per day as pocket money and โฌ9 per day for meals. *Transport arrangements : A bicycle and a transport card for the public transport are also available for getting around the city
Training during the activity
The volunteer will take part in the integration activities organized by the Maison de lโEurope in Nantes (coordinating organisation) in the beginning of his/her volunteering, as well as two weeks of training organized by the National Agency (Erasmus+) covering intercultural communication, non-formal education, and European topics. French classes for two months will also be provided.
