Description
Sinop University is looking for motivated young people to participate in a European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering activity hosted by CENTAR FENIX in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims to promote solidarity, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and community engagement. Volunteers will support activities related to youth work, social inclusion, non-formal education, cultural initiatives and local community development. Participants will have the opportunity to gain international experience, develop personal and professional competences, improve communication skills and contribute to meaningful social projects. Applications must be submitted through the European Youth Portal using the applicant's ESC profile and CV generated on the platform. Priority will be given to current students and graduates of Sinop University. Only applications submitted through the European Youth Portal will be considered.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation will be provided by the host organisation. Volunteers will receive food support or a food allowance, local transportation support and pocket money according to the European Solidarity Corps Programme rules. Travel expenses will be covered in accordance with ESC distance band regulations. Insurance coverage will be provided through the European Solidarity Corps insurance scheme.
Training during the activity
Participants will receive pre-departure preparation from Sinop University and on-arrival support from CENTAR FENIX. Volunteers will benefit from mentoring, language support, intercultural learning activities and non-formal education opportunities throughout the project. Participants will receive a Youthpass Certificate upon successful completion of the activity.
Participant profile
We are looking for young people aged 18-30 who are motivated to participate in international volunteering activities, interested in community engagement and social inclusion, open to intercultural learning and willing to work in a multicultural environment. Applicants must have an active ESC profile and submit their application through the European Youth Portal using their ESC CV. Priority will be given to current students and graduates of Sinop University.
