L'organizzazione di accoglienza è gestita da un gruppo dinamico che organizza attività in tutta la Lettonia e partecipa a numerosi progetti a livello europeo. Accoglie persone d'età, istruzione, status sociale e background culturale diversi. La struttura in cui verrai inserito è un centro giovanile: un luogo speciale per i giovani, perché vi possono sviluppare competenze sociali, artistiche e professionali. Sarai coinvolto attivamente in tutte le attività sia dell'ente di coordinamento che della struttura d'accoglienza, occupandoti dei social media e realizzando iniziative di tua ideazione, eventi, workshops e campagne informative; conoscerai culture diverse partecipando a vari progetti per i giovani, attività di beneficenza con ragazzi e organizzazioni giovanili di tutta la Lettonia ed eventi. Ti occuperai di temi diversi, dallo sport all'arte, passando per i libri e i valori europei. E' uno spazio aperto alla creatività e al gruppo. La tua lingua di lavoro sarà l'Inglese.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in camera singola in un appartamento di 7 stanze su due piani, insieme ad altri 6 volontari del progetto. La casa è ben attrezzata e dispone d'una zona comune con Wi-Fi, una lavatrice, un bagno e una doccia su ogni piano. La casa si trova in una zona sicura. Ogni mese riceverai 180 euro per l'acquisto di generi alimentari, altri 150 euro per le spese personali e una tessera per i trasporti pubblici. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Lettonia ti sarà completamente rimborsato, e un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di incidenti.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda qualche settimana dopo il tuo arrivo in Lettonia e una terza verso la fine del volontariato. Lo staff dell'ente di coordinamento sarà sempre a tua disposizione per aiutarti a superare qualsiasi difficoltà tu possa incontrare entrando in un contesto così diverso dal tuo quotidiano. Questo volontariato è un'esperienza che vale veramente la pena fare, con ritmi intensi, piena di cose da imparare, di relazioni di gruppo e di momenti indimenticabili, sul lavoro e nei fine settimana.

Sei il volontario che cerchiamo se ti piace lavorare in gruppo, comunicare con i giovani e se hai tanta creatività. Sarebbe bello se avessi qualche interesse verso la fotografia, la registrazione e il montaggio di video, verso la comunicazione sui social media o nell'organizzazione degli eventi. Se hai delle idee per la preparazione di workshops o per fare nuove attività con i giovani, questo è il posto ideale per te!!!! Si tratta di un'esperienza che unisce azione e creatività, dove la passione per l'arte, le lingue, i libri o lo sport regna sovrana. Non sono necessarie conoscenze specifiche, ma solo tanto entusiasmo e voglia di coinvolgersi e d'imparare a fare cose nuove. E ricordati che tutto il materiale (CV, lettera motivazione e profilo sul portale) che metti a supporto della tua candidatura dev'essere in Inglese (o in Lettone se lo conosci già...)!!!
