Studio Pollina, a female-founded design studio in Germany, is looking for a tech-savvy, visually-oriented intern to take ownership of its digital storefront. If you love optimising digital spaces as much as they love physical ones, this E-Commerce & Digital Growth role is built for you.

About Studio Pollina

Studio Pollina curates furniture, lighting and objects meant to bring calm, clarity and quiet beauty into everyday life. Working as a trusted partner for architects, developers and everyday design lovers, the studio combines material knowledge with the principles of neuroarchitecture and healing design. It prioritises high-quality European manufacturing, circular-economy principles and sustainable products โ€” and as the team puts it, they don't just curate design, they build communities.

The Role

Because this is a small, tight-knit team, everyone works with a strong teamwork mindset. Your primary focus will be the Shopify store and digital growth, but you'll frequently wear different hats, cross into other roles, and see exactly how a creative business runs from the inside out.

What You'll Do

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Visual merchandising & product management โ€” uploading new products to Shopify and refining their appearance so the online shop reflects the high aesthetic standards of the physical showroom

๐Ÿ“ธ Photo editing โ€” basic editing and retouching so every product image is crisp, consistent and beautifully presented

๐Ÿ” SEO & digital marketing โ€” putting basic SEO strategies in place and, in time, taking on digital ad campaigns (Meta / Google Ads)

๐Ÿ’ป Tech & analytics โ€” basic HTML/CSS tweaks to improve site functionality, plus gathering and analysing data to track digital performance

๐Ÿค Cross-functional teamwork โ€” stepping in to help with events, marketing or administrative tasks and experiencing the full spectrum of the studio's operations

๐ŸŽจ Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma) for basic photo editing

๐Ÿ“Š An understanding of SEO basics, a willingness to dive into digital advertising, and an analytical mindset with a knack for data collection

โšก Proactivity and team spirit โ€” flexible, highly organised and ready to jump in wherever the team needs you

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ English proficiency (required); basic German is a nice-to-have

What They Offer

๐ŸŽฏ Real impact โ€” direct control over how the brand is presented and discovered online

๐Ÿงฉ A holistic experience โ€” you'll learn how an entire design studio operates, not just e-commerce

๐Ÿงญ Guidance on running a creative business, cross-cultural sourcing and the B2B design industry

๐Ÿ•’ Flexibility โ€” the schedule is adjusted around your studies so you can balance both

๐ŸŒฑ Future prospects โ€” they're looking for people long term and are open to further collaboration after the internship
