CEPS is looking for an intern to join its Publications, Communications and Outreach (PCO) team. Reporting to the Digital Communications Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in communicating and disseminating CEPS' research outputs โ an excellent chance to develop strong communication, writing and design skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal starting date is July 2026, or the first half of August at the latest.

Founded in Brussels in 1983, the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) is a leading think tank and forum for debate on EU affairs, consistently ranked among the world's top 10 think tanks. One of its distinguishing features is a strong in-house research capacity backed by an extensive international network of partner institutes. Its funding comes from a variety of sources โ mainly research grants and service contracts, but also membership and conference fees.
Main Tasks
๐ฑ Crafting engaging social media content for CEPS' channels, such as X, LinkedIn and Bluesky
๐จ Creating or editing multimedia and graphic design materials โ social media visuals, small infographics and videos
๐จ Supporting the development and dissemination of communication campaigns and newsletters, coordinating with different teams and managing distribution
โ๏ธ Drafting shorter, more accessible support content to disseminate the key messages of longer CEPS publications
๐ค Providing support for CEPS events โ from creating speaker slides and compiling presentations to CRM support and on-the-spot help during the event (mic roaming, registrations)
๐งฉ Other relevant tasks, as and when required
Your Background & Qualifications
๐ You've finished your tertiary education and hold at least a bachelor's degree in communication, social sciences or a relevant subject in the humanities
๐ ๏ธ You're familiar with graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop or online tools like Canva), Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress), social media (X, LinkedIn, Bluesky) and video production/editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere)
๐ฃ๏ธ You have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written (C1 level)
๐ช๐บ You're interested in European affairs, policymaking and research

๐ Confident writing in English โ both original texts and summaries of longer, complex ones

What CEPS Offers
๐ถ A CIP allowance of EUR 1,200 per month under the CIP scheme
๐๏ธ A full-time internship of six months, starting July 2026 or the first half of August at the latest
๐ Based in Brussels, in-person, though some teleworking may be possible for a limited period
๐ Candidates must be legally entitled to undertake an internship in Belgium for the full duration of the placement
