If you've ever wondered whether Erasmus+ is right for you, this guide gives you all the answers in one place. ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://youthworkshub.org/15096/

โ—๏ธWhat Is This Training About?

Nature helps us drop into our wildest dreams and deepest imagination. Not to escape from, nor to โ€œsaveโ€ the world, but because vision, hope, and courage are exactly what we need in these times, when ecosystems are dying and political tensions are rising.

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ How Erasmus+ youth projects create lasting change in local communities. The impact of Erasmus+ goes far beyond the individuals who participate. Local communities, host organisations, and even entire neighbourhoods are shaped by the projects that take place within them. This article explores the broader social impact of Erasmus+ youth exchanges โ€” from building intercultural understanding to empowering grassroots organisations โ€” and makes a compelling case for why these projects matter beyond the personal level. ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://youthworkshub.org/3595/

โ„น๏ธ Description About The Opportunity

DREAMING THE WORLD TO COME is an international Erasmus + program aimed at people who are, or strive to become, agents of cultural (r)evolution and social transformation. Humans who, with their daily actions, are models in their community and leaders of the awakening and change in the world.

METHODOLOGY

With methods that include, and go beyond ecopsychology, we will connect with ourselves, each other and with the other-than-human and more-than-human world.

We will work with Bill Plotkinโ€™s Nature-based Map of the Human Psyche, discovering and cultivating our four facets of wholeness:

  • North โ€“ Heart-Centered Thinking, Nurturing, and Generating
  • East โ€“ Compassion, Full-presence Sensing, Lightness, Play, and Wisdom
  • South โ€“ Full-bodied emotions, Belonging and Life Energy
  • West โ€“ Romance, Deep Imagination and Dreams

This training course is highly experiential, emotionally engaging, and nature-based.

Practices include:

  • movement
  • solo time in nature
  • conversation across species borders
  • sensorial awakening
  • council
  • dreamwork
  • deep imagery
  • embodiment
  • journaling

WHY THIS MATTERS

As youthworkers, we can give only what we have. The quality of accompaniment we can offer young people is directly connected to our own aliveness, authenticity and relationship to life. If we feel depleted, hopeless and disconnected, how can we accompany and inspire the young people who are growing up in these times?

Therefore, cultivating our own humanness and capacity, tending to our grief, our anger, our fear is essential.

Finding hope, purpose and belonging is essential. This is the main aim of DREAMING THE WORLD TO COME.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

This course is for you if you:

  • actively work with young people
  • are open to experiential learning
  • are curious about imagination and ecological belonging
  • are willing to engage personally
  • are comfortable with emotional depth and reflection
  • want to reconnect with your longing and aliveness

Participants must be over 18 years and have a good level of English as the entire course will be in English.
