☀️SUMMER INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERING TEAM: YOUTH DAY IN KROSNO | EUROPEAN UNION ONLY

STOWARZYSZENIE PROJEKTOW MIEDZYNARODOWYCH INPRO
Biuro Wystaw Artystycznych
Krosno, Poland
DESCRIPTION
Join us this summer in Krosno, a charming town in Podkarpacie, for a 3-week international volunteering project bringing together 20 young people from Poland and abroad. Volunteers will support the preparation and organisation of a city event celebrating Youth Day in Krosno. Together, we will work on creative, cultural, promotional and organisational tasks, helping to make the event welcoming and engaging for the local community. The project is a chance to gain practical experience in teamwork, communication, event organisation and intercultural cooperation. The activity dates are fixed: 12.07.2026–01.08.2026. Participants must arrive on 11.07.2026 and leave on 02.08.2026. These dates are not negotiable. Staying in Poland a few days before and/or after the project may be possible only at the participant’s own cost. Apply as soon as possible. Recruitment is ongoing and places may be filled before the official deadline.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will be accommodated in guest rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people, each with a private bathroom. Participants will have access to a shared kitchen where they can prepare their meals. Each volunteer will receive 12 EUR per day to cover food and pocket money. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the applicable limits, depending on the distance and means of transport. Most activities will take place in Krosno, so local transport will usually not be needed. If necessary for project activities, it will be organised or covered.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
At the beginning of the project, volunteers will take part in an introduction to the hosting organisation, the city of Krosno, the aims of the project and the European Solidarity Corps. They will receive practical preparation related to teamwork, communication, promotion, event organisation and activities with the local community. Throughout the project, volunteers will be supported by coordinators and mentors. The project will also include space for intercultural learning, reflection and evaluation.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This project is especially addressed to young people with fewer opportunities and little or no previous experience in international projects. We would like it to be a first international volunteering experience for participants who may not have had many chances to join similar activities before. You do not need experience in youth projects, event organisation or volunteering. What matters most is your motivation, openness and willingness to be part of an international team. If you are wondering whether to apply, if you feel that you do not have enough experience, or if you think this project may not be for you - we especially encourage you to apply. We are looking for people like you! Apply only via the European Youth Portal with your CV and a motivation statement. ❗Email applications will not be considered ❗

🏅 What is YouthPass — and why should every Erasmus+ and ESC participant care about it?YouthPass is the official EU certificate that recognises the skills and competences you develop through Erasmus+ and ESC projects — but many participants either don't know about it or don't use it effectively. This complete guide explains what YouthPass is, how to request it, what it includes, and how to present it meaningfully on your CV or in job applications. It's one of the most underused tools in the Erasmus+ ecosystem, and this article changes that. 👉 https://youthworkshub.org/15122/
👷 Youth workers in Erasmus+ and ESC: who they are, what they do, and why they matter. Youth workers are the backbone of Erasmus+ and ESC projects — the people who design activities, support participants, manage group dynamics, and ensure that learning actually happens. Yet their role is rarely in the spotlight. This article gives a thorough and honest look at what youth workers do before, during, and after a project, and why their involvement is critical to the quality of every programme. Essential reading for anyone considering a career in non-formal education. 👉 https://youthworkshub.org/15128/
🌐 What is Eurodesk — and how can it help you find Erasmus+ and ESC opportunities for free?Eurodesk is the EU's official youth information network, operating in over 40 countries with a mission to connect young people with opportunities across Europe — completely free of charge. From Erasmus+ and ESC projects to volunteering, traineeships, and funding schemes, Eurodesk advisors can help you navigate the options available in your country and region. This article explains what Eurodesk does, how to find your nearest contact point, and how to make the most of its services. 👉 https://youthworkshub.org/15120/
🚫 4 ESC myths that are stopping you from applying — and the facts that prove them wrong. "I need to speak another language." "I'm too old." "I'll have to pay for everything myself." "It's only for certain types of people." These are four of the most common misconceptions about the European Solidarity Corps — and they're all false. This article addresses each myth directly with clear, accurate information so that nothing stands between you and an experience that could genuinely change your life. If you've been hesitating, this is your sign to apply. 👉 https://youthworkshub.org/15110/
