Music as a bridge between cultures. Migration, coexistence, and tolerance explored through workshops, creative activities, and community exchange. And a group of young people from four countries coming together on a Canary Island to make something real happen together. This is Harmony Bridge.
Asociaciรณn Sociocultural Apolo is a non-profit organisation based in the Canary Islands, working in youth, art, music, social inclusion, and non-formal education. Their Harmony Bridge Erasmus+ Youth Exchange brings together 20 participants from Spain, Romania, Germany, and Tรผrkiye in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria โ combining artistic expression with genuine reflection on migration, youth participation, and cultural diversity.
What Is This Project About?
The exchange is built on one core idea: music can connect people across cultures and create spaces for dialogue, empathy, coexistence, and peace. Participants do not just attend activities โ they actively contribute through singing, presenting, discussing, reflecting, creating, and sharing. The entire programme is based on non-formal education methods.
๐ญ Ever wondered what actually goes into planning an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange? Behind every successful youth exchange is weeks โ sometimes months โ of careful preparation that participants rarely see. From writing project proposals and coordinating partner organisations to designing non-formal education activities and managing logistics across borders, the behind-the-scenes work is enormous. This article pulls back the curtain and gives you a real look at how these projects are built, which is invaluable knowledge whether you're a participant, a youth worker, or an organisation thinking about hosting.

๐ What is YouthPass โ and why should every Erasmus+ and ESC participant care about it?YouthPass is the official EU certificate that recognises the skills and competences you develop through Erasmus+ and ESC projects โ but many participants either don't know about it or don't use it effectively. This complete guide explains what YouthPass is, how to request it, what it includes, and how to present it meaningfully on your CV or in job applications. It's one of the most underused tools in the Erasmus+ ecosystem, and this article changes that.
