About the Project
This volunteering experience takes place in Burgos and focuses on real social impact at the local level. You’ll be part of a small team working directly with communities through education, inclusion, and international cooperation activities.
The project is structured around active contribution, not passive participation. You are expected to engage, support, and co-create initiatives with local people and organizations.

Main Activities
Global Citizenship Education
📚 Supporting workshops and courses on sustainability and solidarity
🎓 Assisting in educational activities mainly for children and young people
🌱 Promoting awareness around global issues and responsible citizenship
Social Action
🤝 Supporting immigrants in vulnerable situations
🗣️ Assisting with language learning and integration activities
🎨 Organizing leisure and educational activities for the community
Project Management & Promotion
📊 Supporting local and international volunteering initiatives
🌍 Helping organize cultural and solidarity events
🧩 Contributing to European and international cooperation projects
Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
🏠 Private room in a shared apartment in Burgos
🍽️ Monthly allowance: 180€ for food + 180€ pocket money
🚶♂️ City is compact, daily transport usually not required
Training & Support
👥 Guidance from project coordinator and assigned tutors
🧠 Personal mentor support for individual development
🔄 “Reinforced Mentorship” sessions for reflection and learning
🌐 Support in team integration and intercultural understanding
Participant Profile
💡 Motivated to contribute to social change and sustainability
🌍 Interest in topics like migration, inclusion, and education
🤝 Open-minded, flexible, and comfortable in multicultural teams
📚 Experience in education or social work is a plus (not required)
🗣️ Basic Spanish is appreciated
