This European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity in Snagov (Ghermฤneศti), Romania offers a fully immersive experience for young people who want to actively engage in youth work, education, and community development. Project Overview and Objectives
๐ฏ The main goal is to support local children and youth through structured non-formal education activities
๐ฑ Promote environmental awareness, green practices, and responsible civic participation
๐ค Strengthen intercultural learning and cooperation between European volunteers and local communities
๐ก Develop practical skills in youth work, facilitation and community-based project implementation
Detailed Tasks and Responsibilities
๐ซ Organise and implement daily activities within the A4ACTION Afterschool programme including outdoor games, English language sessions, arts & crafts, and personal development exercises
๐ Deliver educational workshops in local schools across Snagov commune covering topics such as cultural diversity, civic engagement, environmental protection and sustainable lifestyles
๐ป Facilitate digital skills workshops to support young people in developing essential competencies for modern society
๐ฌ Produce promotional videos and visual content to raise awareness about the European Solidarity Corps and showcase project impact
๐ Actively contribute to the creation and development of the A4ACTION Online Youth Center, helping expand digital youth engagement
๐ค Collaborate with local staff and other international volunteers to design and implement new activity ideas
Accommodation, Food, Travel and Insurance
๐ Volunteers will be accommodated in shared housing together with other international participants, creating a strong intercultural living environment
๐ฝ๏ธ Food allowance and pocket money are provided according to official ESC financial guidelines
โ๏ธ Travel costs are reimbursed based on distance bands defined by the European Commission
๐ก๏ธ Full medical insurance is covered through the Henner Insurance Plan for the entire duration of the project
Training and Learning Process
