🇦🇹 Erasmus+ Training Course in Austria 🏭 Impact Factory — Project Lab for Youth Participation & Solidarity Projects in Salzburg 🇦🇹
Are you a young person, youth worker, or youth organisation with an idea for a youth participation or solidarity project — and ready to turn it into reality? You can join the Impact Factory, an Erasmus+ project lab taking place in Salzburg, Austria, where participants will receive step-by-step support in developing their own project ideas for Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activities and European Solidarity Corps Solidarity Projects. Whether you already have a concrete plan or are simply looking for inspiration, this training — conducted entirely in German — will guide you through programme principles, funding opportunities, and practical project development tools. Climate justice is a special focus of this edition, but all project ideas that engage young people and support their active participation in democracy and society are warmly welcome.
What Will You Do During the Training?
🧩Explore the core principles of participation and solidarity within the Erasmus+ Youth programme and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC)
🌍Engage with all programme priorities — inclusion, digital transformation, environment, and democratic participation — with a special focus on climate justice
💶Discover funding opportunities available through Youth Participation Activities and Solidarity Projects under Erasmus+ Youth and ESC
🛠️Receive step-by-step support in developing your own project idea and translating it into a concrete application for funding
💡Learn from real-life project examples — selected project leaders will present their best practices from the field
🧰Get to know practical tools supporting inclusion, participation, and sustainability in youth projects
🇪🇺Explore the connections between your project ideas and the EU Youth Strategy, European Youth Goals, and the EU Youth Dialogue
🔄Deepen further aspects based on the specific needs and interests of participants throughout the workshop
Accommodation, Food & Travel
🏨Accommodation and food costs are covered by the host National Agency — the organising NA takes care of lodging and meals for the duration of the training
✈️Travel reimbursement depends on your country — please contact your National Agency or SALTO to find out whether your travel costs will be covered and what the reimbursement procedure involves
💶The participation fee varies by country and is financed by the participating National Agencies — contact your NA or SALTO for details specific to your country
📅Arrival is required by Thursday 9 July 2026 at the latest by 18:00 — departure is possible on Sunday 12 July 2026 after lunch
✅Full attendance throughout all days of the project lab is mandatory
♿The venue and activity are fully accessible to people with disabilities
Training & Learning
🎓Every participant is entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate to formally recognise their competence development during the activity
🌐The training is co-financed by OeAD — Austria's National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth — and JUGEND für Europa, Germany's National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps

🧑🤝🧑You are a young person or young adult aged 18–30, a youth organisation, or a local initiative led by young people
🏛️You represent an organisation active in administration, politics, youth work, research, child and youth welfare, or any institution wishing to engage in youth participation
💡You already have a project idea, a concrete plan, or are simply looking for inspiration — all levels of readiness are welcome
🇩🇪You have a solid command of German — the entire training is conducted in German and participation requires the ability to follow and engage in German throughout
✅You are able to commit to full attendance for the entire duration of the project lab
