๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Opportunity
This ESC volunteering opportunity takes place in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, within a sport and health-oriented after-school care center called โWellenreiter.โ
The project focuses on encouraging children to live active, healthy lifestyles through sports, games and creative activities.
Volunteers will support educators working with children aged 6โ12 years old, helping them discover that physical activity and movement can be fun while promoting long-term health awareness.
This experience allows volunteers to contribute to youth development while gaining practical experience in education, sports activities and non-formal learning environments.

The goal of the project is to increase childrenโs daily physical activity and strengthen their awareness of health and wellbeing.

Volunteers will live in ESC volunteer apartments located in Potsdam.

๐ฒ A bicycle provided for local mobility
๐ Training and Learning Opportunities
๐ฃ Volunteers can participate in German language courses depending on their level.
All ESC volunteers must attend two mandatory seminars:

These trainings allow volunteers to meet other ESC participants, reflect on their experience and explore European values.
