Bullying remains one of the most persistent challenges in youth work across Europe โ and many educators still lack practical, engaging tools to address it effectively. This online conference brings together youth workers and educators to discover storytelling and gamified methods that actually work in non-formal education settings.
Asociaciรณn PROMESAS is organising a free online conference as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project "Rewriting the Story: Empowering Youth Against Bullying". The event takes place on 26 May 2026 at 17:00 CET via Google Meet and is open to 60 participants from across Europe and beyond.
What Is This Conference About?
The conference introduces participants to storytelling and gamified approaches as powerful tools for bullying prevention in youth work. Participants will explore how to create safe, engaging learning environments where young people can reflect on their experiences, develop empathy, and build key social competences including communication, assertiveness, and conflict resolution.
Objectives
๐ฏ Strengthen the capacity of youth workers to address bullying through non-formal education methods
๐ฒ Introduce storytelling and gamification as tools for youth engagement and learning
๐ฌ Support the development of young people's social and emotional skills
๐ก Promote inclusive and safe learning environments in youth work contexts

Project Resources Presented at the Conference
Three practical resources developed as part of the project will be presented during the session:
๐ A manual including 20 non-formal education methods focused on bullying prevention โ covering empathy, communication, and conflict resolution
๐ฒ A collective educational board game designed to simulate real-life situations and encourage dialogue, reflection, and group learning around bullying
๐ง A multimedia storybook bringing together real stories from young people, including audio recordings of personal experiences with bullying
