The space
Work of Co is a boutique coworking space in Antwerp, in the lively Seefhoek area on Lange Van Sterbeeckstraat. It's a small, design-led community business where the atmosphere and the people are the product — so this internship is genuinely about ownership, not fetching coffee. Your role
As the Hospitality & Events Intern, you'll be the heartbeat of the space — driving member experience, atmosphere and events. Concretely, you will:
- Manage daily coworking operations and take on-site ownership.
- Keep the venue clean, welcoming and client-ready at all times.
- Plan and host community events, from concept all the way to follow-up.
- Welcome members, resolve their requests and build warm relationships.
- Coordinate supplies, vendors and inventory.
- Identify ideas to elevate community life and operations.
Who you are
- A student or graduate in hospitality, events, tourism or business.
- Warm, proactive, and energized by hosting people.
- Organized and calm under pressure when juggling multiple tasks.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus.

The practical details
This is an unpaid Erasmus+ traineeship (during studies), full-time at 40 hours per week, lasting 5 months, with a flexible start date (around 1 October 2026). The working language is English.
Eligibility — read this before applying
Work of Co can host international candidates and will provide the necessary documentation (a signed Learning Agreement and an invitation letter), but it does not provide visa sponsorship. If you are not an EU/EEA resident, you can ask whether they can offer you a maximum 3-month internship instead. So EU/EEA-based students are the most straightforward fit.
