About the Role

This is a P-3 mid-level international professional position within the Executive Board Branch (EBB), Office of the Executive Director (OED) in New York. It is a fixed-term appointment for one year, with the possibility of extension. P-3 is a mid-level UN grade, generally requiring an advanced degree and around five years of experience.


What You'll Do

๐Ÿ“‘ Coordinate and edit Executive Board documentation, ensuring compliance with UN editorial standards

๐ŸŒ Manage the Country Programme Documents process with regional and country offices

๐Ÿค Organise informal Board briefings and consultations with Member States

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Support official Board sessions and the negotiation of decisions

๐ŸŽ“ Coordinate the Salas Lecture event, and liaise with Member States on governance matters

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŽ“ An advanced (Master's) university degree in social sciences, law, humanities, international relations, political science or a related field

๐Ÿ’ผ At least 5 years of experience in an international organisation, including intergovernmental experience

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Fluency in English is required; French is strongly desirable
