At Youth Works Hub we look closely at fully remote internships like this one, because they let you build real social-media experience for a growing startup from anywhere in Europe.
Who Shrubi is
Shrubi is a fast-growing no-code marketplace platform based in Lisbon, on a mission to help entrepreneurs launch their own marketplaces without complexity. It also runs a dependable booking platform for small and medium businesses that simplifies reservations and supports steady growth. The team is expanding across Europe and looking for motivated interns who want to learn fast and take ownership.
The role
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands online communities, and is always curious about what's trending — working fully remotely.
What you'll do
- Trend scouting across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Competitor monitoring — tracking content, campaigns, positioning and engagement.
- Community engagement through comments, DMs and conversations.
- Identifying trending formats, topics, creators and content opportunities.
- Researching and suggesting ideas for posts, short-form videos and campaigns.
- Tracking engagement and key learnings to help improve Shrubi's social presence.
Who they're looking for
- A strong interest in social media, digital culture and online communities.
- Creative, proactive and comfortable experimenting with new ideas.
- Good research and communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently.
- Canva, CapCut or content-creation experience is a plus.
Because this is an unpaid traineeship, most students fund it through an Erasmus+ traineeship grant from their home university, and a strong Europass CV helps your application stand out.
What you'll gain
Hands-on startup experience, real ownership, and the chance to learn about social-media growth, trend research, competitor analysis and community building — while directly contributing to Shrubi's strategy.
The details
Unpaid Erasmus+ traineeship (during studies), part-time at 20 hours per week, lasting 3 months, fully remote, expected start 1 October 2026. Open to students from short-cycle to doctorate level; working language English.
