Description

Want to discover what happens behind the scenes of an international theatre festival? Join our volunteer team in Kwidzyn, Poland and become part of ANIMO! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ https://www.animofestival.pl/ 

Help organise the ANIMO Theatre Festival, tasks:

- Support backstage activities and theatre crews

- Help prepare performance spaces, scenery, props and equipment

- Support international artists and guests

- Assist with workshops, meetings and accompanying events

- Take part in creative and intercultural activities at Youth Space

- Contribute your own ideas and work as part of an international team


Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer will be accomodated with another volunteers in Kwidzyn. Every house consists of 3-4 rooms shared by 2-3 volunteers. The kitchen and bathroom are always shared. 


Every flat has an internet connection. 

All the flats are equipped with:

  • Bed covers (x1/room), blanket and pillow.
  • Cleaning stuff (broom, mop, dustpan, etc.)
  • Iron (x1/flat).
  • Heating in every flat/room
  • Kitchen pots, plates, silverware, and cooking tools (simple but enough for daily life).
  • Oven and cooker,
  • Refrigerator with freezer.

You have to care about your private towels and hygienic stuff like soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc


Training during the activity

Volunteers are provided with an induction training, workplace health and safety training. 


Participant profile

We are accepting only volunteers from EU counries. We will not reply on the other applications. 

  • People aged 18โ€“30 from EU countries
  • Experience in the theater work will be an asset
  • Creative, energetic and open-minded people 
  • Volunteers ready for practical, hands-on tasks
  • Volunteers ready to work in the team in the intrnational envoirment
  • Flexible, responsible and ready to work in a team 
  • English level A2
