The Unspoken Art of Again is an Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange hosted by Asociaศ›ia Solidaritate ศ™i Acศ›iune pentru Tineret (A.S.A.T.) in Predeal, Romania, from 8 to 18 November 2026. It brings together 43 young people aged 21 to 30 from seven European countries to connect environmental sustainability, emotional well being and artistic expression through non formal education, upcycling and intercultural learning. The application deadline is 5 September 2026.

The Eco-Emotional Idea Behind the Project

The Unspoken Art of Again introduces an innovative approach to youth work by connecting environmental sustainability, emotional well being and artistic expression. It is built on the concept of the eco-emotional intersection, encouraging young people to transform environmental concerns into creative action through non formal education, intercultural learning and upcycling practices. Throughout the mobility, participants strengthen their competences, exchange experiences and contribute to building a more resilient, inclusive and environmentally responsible society. Youth Exchanges like this one bring together young people from different countries to learn from one another through non formal education, intercultural dialogue and active participation, learning by doing, reflecting, sharing experiences and working together in an international environment.

Project Objectives

๐ŸŒฑ Improve the environmental literacy of participants by developing practical upcycling skills and increasing sustainability awareness.

๐ŸŽจ Strengthen creative and digital competences through collaborative artistic installations created entirely from recycled and upcycled materials.

๐Ÿ’ญ Improve emotional self regulation and emotional expression through non formal education, art based activities and daily reflection methods.

๐ŸŒ Empower participants to become Eco-Emotional Ambassadors capable of implementing follow up activities and promoting environmental responsibility and emotional well being within their local communities.

By the end of the project, participants are expected to increase their environmental literacy and practical sustainability competences, improve emotional awareness and emotional vocabulary, develop creativity, teamwork and intercultural communication skills, receive a Youthpass Certificate together with a personal learning portfolio, implement local dissemination activities after returning home, and become multipliers of the project's methodology within their organisations and communities. The project sets concrete targets:

๐Ÿ“ˆ A 30% increase in sustainability knowledge.

Before You Travel

Participation in the pre departure session organised by your Sending Organisation is mandatory. During this session you will receive a project presentation, practical travel information, Erasmus+ programme rules, health and safety guidance, the Code of Conduct, information about reimbursement procedures, and a questions and answers segment.

Participants are required to obtain valid health insurance covering the entire mobility period, and the Coordinating Organisation strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering flight cancellation or delay, lost or delayed luggage, accidents, medical assistance, personal liability and unexpected travel disruptions.

Before travelling, make sure you have a valid passport or national ID card, travel tickets, boarding passes (kept after travelling), a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) if applicable, travel insurance, emergency contact details, personal medication and a signed Participant Agreement. A recommended packing list includes comfortable clothing, a warm jacket, comfortable waterproof shoes, a raincoat, winter accessories, personal medication, chargers, a power bank, a reusable water bottle, a notebook and pen, and materials for the Intercultural Evening.

For the Intercultural Evening, each national team is invited to prepare traditional food, traditional drinks (non alcoholic or in line with project rules), traditional clothing (optional), music, dance, games, small souvenirs and a short presentation about their country and organisation.

Health, Safety and Code of Conduct

The safety, well being and dignity of every participant are the highest priorities, and everyone shares responsibility for maintaining a positive atmosphere free of discrimination, harassment or exclusion. Each participant is responsible for ensuring they are adequately insured; the Coordinating Organisation cannot be held responsible for costs resulting from insufficient insurance coverage.

Participants and leaders must follow all health and safety instructions, inform the Project Team immediately about any illness, injury or emergency, carry any personal medication they need, respect emergency procedures, and avoid any behaviour that could endanger themselves or others. On substances: the use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited, alcohol consumption is not allowed during official project activities, and smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Any behaviour that endangers others may lead to disciplinary measures or exclusion.

The Code of Conduct asks all participants to attend and actively take part in all activities, be punctual, treat everyone with respect and professionalism, promote inclusion and respect cultural diversity, follow the Project Team's instructions, respect the accommodation, venue and equipment, and represent their organisation and country responsibly.

The Learning Journey

This Youth Exchange is based on non formal education, where learning happens through active participation, teamwork, reflection and practical experiences, including interactive workshops, simulations, group discussions, creative activities and outdoor learning. At the end of the mobility, every participant who actively takes part receives a Youthpass Certificate, which recognises the competences developed and encourages reflection on the personal learning journey.

After returning home, every participant is expected to share what they gained through workshops or presentations, social media posts, meetings with young people, activities organised by the Sending Organisation and local community events, and to stay involved by supporting future Erasmus+ activities, sharing good practices, promoting European values and maintaining contact with the international network created during the project.
