This program is designed to let students focus on innovation, learning, and collaboration without financial stress.
Participants will receive:
💶 Monthly stipend: 3,407 Swiss Francs (CHF)
✈️ Travel allowance: Full reimbursement for transportation

🌴 Paid leave: 2–5 days per month

Note: Students specializing in theoretical or experimental particle physics are not eligible for this program.
🧭 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CERN Technical Student Program 2026, applicants must:
✅ Be a citizen of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
✅ Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
✅ Have completed at least one year of university studies
✅ Be proficient in English (French is a plus)
✅ Be available for a 4–12 month internship period
✅ Not have previously participated in a CERN internship
