🌍 EU Careers Student Ambassadors πŸŽ“ Promote EU Career Opportunities at Your University β€” 2026/2027 Academic Year 🌍
Are you a university student, an EU citizen, enthusiastic about the European Union, and looking to build real work experience, public speaking skills, and a pan-European network β€” all while still studying? EPSO, the European Personnel Selection Office, is inviting students to become EU Careers Student Ambassadors for the 2026/2027 academic year. As an ambassador, you will represent EU career opportunities on your campus, organise events and presentations, maintain an online presence, and act as the go-to contact for fellow students interested in working for EU institutions. In return, you will receive full induction training, coaching, the chance to meet high-ranking EU officials, and a reference letter based on your performance. Application deadline: 18 March 2026.
πŸ›οΈ Did You Know? EPSO β€” the European Personnel Selection Office β€” runs one of the most competitive recruitment processes in the world. Each year, tens of thousands of candidates from across the EU apply for a limited number of positions in EU institutions. EU Careers Student Ambassadors are often among the best-prepared candidates when they later apply themselves, having spent a full year inside the process.

What Will You Do as an Ambassador?

πŸ“£Act as the primary point of contact for students at your university who are interested in EU career opportunities β€” answering questions and providing up-to-date information on EU jobs
🎀Give presentations, attend university career fairs, and help bring interesting speakers to your campus to raise awareness of EU institutional careers
πŸ“±Maintain an active online and social media presence to promote EU career opportunities among your student community
πŸ“‹Set up mailing lists, research target student groups, and distribute information about EU jobs through the most appropriate channels on your campus
🌐Build and develop a university-level network connected to the broader EU Careers Ambassador network across Europe
πŸ“ŠKeep a log of your activities, report back to your EU Careers coordinator regularly, and participate in all online training activities provided by EPSO

What Will You Gain?

πŸŽ“Full induction training and ongoing coaching throughout the role β€” from EPSO directly
πŸ›οΈThe opportunity to meet high-ranking EU officials as part of your ambassador activities
πŸ“„A reference letter based on your performance at the end of the ambassador year β€” a valuable credential for any future EU career application
πŸ’ΌReal, CV-boosting work experience in public speaking, marketing, human resources, and event organisation
🀝Access to an exciting pan-European student ambassador network connecting universities across the EU
🧠In-depth knowledge of EU career paths, recruitment processes, and institutional structures β€” invaluable if you plan to pursue an EU career yourself
πŸ’‘ Did You Know? The EU Careers Student Ambassador programme operates at universities across all EU member states, selected in collaboration with national governments.
