π§πͺ Summer School for Young Journalists at the European Parliament π€ ESMH Summer School β Science Communication in the Age of AI, Brussels π§πͺ
Are you a young journalist or content creator with at least two years of experience, a genuine interest in science communication, and a pressing need to understand what AI is actually doing to your profession? The European Science-Media Hub (ESMH) of the European Parliament is inviting up to 50 young EU journalists aged 18 to 36 to a four-day summer school at the European Parliament in Brussels β focused entirely on AI in science journalism and newsrooms. Through hands-on workshops, panel discussions with policymakers and researchers, and sessions with experienced science journalists, you will leave with the tools to cover AI responsibly, tell compelling science stories, and navigate the evolving landscape of digital media. Travel and accommodation costs are covered for selected participants. Deadline: 18 March 2026 at 12:00 CET (midday).

It was launched in 2018 and has since supported hundreds of journalists covering science and technology across Europe.
