The UN Resident Coordinatorโ€™s Office (RCO) China plays a central role in coordinating all UN agencies in China and strengthening partnerships with the government to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This internship provides hands-on exposure to UN operations, inter-agency coordination, and administrative processes across HR, finance, procurement, and logistics.

๐Ÿงญ Main Duties & Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Administrative Assistant, the intern will:

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Office Operations & Administration
โš™๏ธ Support daily administrative operations of the RCO
๐Ÿ“ฆ Assist with inventory and asset management
๐Ÿ“… Support logistics for meetings, events, and conferences
๐Ÿ’ผ Assist staff with reimbursement and administrative procedures

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Human Resources Support
๐Ÿ“„ Support HR documentation and administrative tasks
๐Ÿงพ Assist with HR-related operational processes

๐Ÿ“Š Finance & Procurement
๐Ÿ“ˆ Support market research and drafting analysis reports
๐Ÿ“ Assist in preparing procurement evaluation reports
โœ… Support quality checks and acceptance procedures

This role offers a comprehensive overview of UN operational policies and procedures at the country level.

๐ŸŽ“ Eligibility & Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
โœ”๏ธ Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme (Masterโ€™s degree or higher), or
โœ”๏ธ Enrolled in or completed the final academic year of a university degree

๐Ÿ”Ž Field of study must be closely related (e.g. Public Administration, International Relations, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or similar).
๐Ÿšซ No professional work experience required

๐ŸŒ Languages
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Fluency in English and Chinese is required
โž• French is an official UN language but not mandatory
