This European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Teams opportunity is implemented by FUNDACION ALIANZA POR LOS DERECHOS, LA IGUALDAD Y LA SOLIDARIDAD INTERNACIONAL in cooperation with Fundatia Judeteana pentru Tineret Botosani, and takes place in Botoศani, Romania ๐ท๐ด.
The project Vol4Refugees brings together a team of motivated young people to strengthen support for Ukrainian refugees through a gender-sensitive and inclusive approach, while promoting civic engagement, intercultural dialogue, and European values at local level.
Volunteers contribute to educational, cultural, social, and sports activities that support integration, resilience, and community cohesion, while gaining valuable experience in non-formal education and community work.

๐ Supporting educational and non-formal learning activities
๐ญ Organising cultural and creative workshops
โฝ Coordinating sports and recreational events that foster inclusion
๐ค Assisting youth programmes and community initiatives
๐ Promoting intercultural dialogue and social cohesion
โ๏ธ Applying gender-sensitive and feminist approaches in activities
๐ณ๏ธ Encouraging active civic engagement and participation
๐ฅ Supporting integration of Ukrainian refugees into the local community

๐ Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
๐จ Accommodation in a modern youth hostel (Casa Tineretului) in central Botoศani
๐๏ธ Shared rooms 2 volunteers per room with private bathrooms
๐ณ Access to a fully equipped kitchen
๐ Free public transport passes for Botoศaniโs electric bus network
๐ฑ Sustainable and easy local mobility throughout the project
๐ Training & Support During the Activity
๐ Pre-departure training in Madrid organised by Alianza with a strong focus on gender equality and feminist principles
๐ค Continuous orientation and mentoring during the project
๐ง Training on intercultural communication, non-formal education, civic engagement, and working with vulnerable groups
๐ ๏ธ Practical workshops to develop skills in community work and event organisation
