🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by LUŽÁNKY – STŘEDISKO VOLNÉHO ČASU BRNO, PŘÍSPĚVKOVÁ ORGANIZACE and takes place at LUSK – Polytechnic Studios in Brno, Czech Republic 🇨🇿.
The project is designed for technically and STEAM-oriented volunteers who enjoy working with children through handcrafts, IT, and digital technologies, while supporting creative workshops and summer camp activities in a dynamic youth centre environment.

🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
🛠️ Supporting handcraft workshops using tools and basic technical skills
💻 Assisting IT and digital technology activities with children
🎓 Working mainly with children and young people in creative learning settings
🎨 Supporting polytechnic and STEAM-based workshops
🏕️ Helping organise and deliver summer camps for children
🤝 Assisting the team in educational and creative events

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
🏡 Accommodation in rented shared flats (not in the city centre)
💶 Monthly pocket money and food allowance paid at the beginning of each month
🚋 Public transport card for Brno provided
🗓️ Days off include 2 days per week plus 2 vacation days per month
🔁 Weekend work is compensated with extra days off during the week

🎓 Training & Support During the Activity
📘 Participation in On-Arrival Training organised by the Czech National Agency
🌍 Pre-departure training in the volunteer’s home country or by the supporting organisation
🧠 Additional workshops throughout the year organised by LUŽÁNKY or partner organisations
🤝 Continuous guidance and mentoring during the placement
