About the Opportunity
๐ท๐ธ This meaningful ESC opportunity in Novi Sad, Serbia invites volunteers to support the Senior Club and the EHO Art Corner, both operated by ADRA OPS in cooperation with Ekumenska Humanitarna Organizacija (EHO).
Volunteers will play a key role in empowering elderly and socially vulnerable individuals by facilitating art, music, cultural expression, storytelling, and intergenerational activities that reduce social isolation and strengthen community bonds.
๐จ Daily responsibilities include assisting with handicraft workshops, painting sessions, traditional art activities, group discussions, social gatherings, and cultural exchange meetings. Volunteers will also help organize and maintain the EHO Art Corner, support the display of handmade items, and contribute to the creation of small promotional materials.
This role is ideal for empathetic, creative, community-minded young people who want to bring joy, dignity, and connection to older generations.
Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ก Volunteers live in a fully furnished shared apartment, each with a private bedroom.
๐ฝ๏ธ A monthly allowance of 470 EUR covers meals, local transport, and communication.
๐ Public transport is commonly used for reaching activity locations; EHO vehicles are available when required.
