About the Opportunity

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ด This impactful ESC volunteering project takes place at Lumea Lui Pinocchio Center in Panciu, a safe and supportive space dedicated to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, including many from the Roma community.
The center provides daily non-formal education, homework support, warm meals, and emotional safety โ€” and volunteers play a key role in supporting both educational and digital activities.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Your digital tasks:
โ€“ Create content (photos, videos, posts) for the centerโ€™s social media channels
โ€“ Promote events and highlight daily activities
โ€“ Engage with the online community and respond to interactions
โ€“ Collaborate with staff to gather stories, visuals, and updates
โ€“ Propose digitalization workshops or activities for children

๐Ÿ‘ง Your educational tasks:
โ€“ Assist children with homework
โ€“ Support non-formal learning activities
โ€“ Help create an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Accommodation, Food & Transport

๐Ÿก Volunteers stay in an apartment dedicated to ESC participants (max. 3 people per room), located very close to the center.
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Monthly food allowance + daily pocket money of 4 EUR/day.
๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ No long commuting โ€” the center is within walking distance.

Participant Profile

We are looking for motivated young volunteers who are passionate about supporting disadvantaged groups and committed to personal and collective growth.
Reliability, cultural sensitivity, empathy, critical thinking, and a genuine desire to help children thrive are essential.
Experience in digital tools or social media is helpful, but openness and motivation matter most.
