About the Opportunity

🇵🇱 This vibrant ESC project invites volunteers to join Neighbourhood Centre “Przystań Śmidowicza 49” in Gdynia, a lively community hub where neighbours meet, exchange passions, build initiatives, and create an atmosphere of creativity and collaboration. Hosted by Laboratorium Innowacji Społecznych, this experience offers a dynamic cultural environment where volunteers can help strengthen community ties and co-create inspiring activities.

✨ As a volunteer, you will support animators during events, co-organise workshops, intercultural gatherings, community gardening, social media content creation, Swap Point actions, and even propose your own activities for residents.
It’s a perfect ESC project for people who enjoy teamwork, creativity, community engagement, and intercultural learning.

Accommodation, Food & Transport

🏠 Volunteers stay in rented flats, in rooms shared by up to two people.
💶 Pocket money provided monthly.
🚌 Local bus pass for Gdynia included.

Training & Learning Opportunities

📚 Mandatory On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training by the National Agency
🎓 Additional internal trainings by the host organisation
💡 Development of interpersonal communication, community engagement, and teamwork skills.

Participant Profile

We are looking for an open-minded, empathetic volunteer who enjoys connecting with people of all ages. If you love sharing your passions and contributing to community life, you will thrive here.
Experience in teamwork, community activities, or time management is a plus.
📅 Activities begin in February/March 2026 and last for at least 9 months.
