A vibrant and meaningful ESC opportunity is now open in Targoviste, Romania! Through Youth for a Better Future, volunteers will help strengthen community participation, support inclusion, and contribute to building a brand-new youth space called Horizons. This project invites motivated young people who want to grow personally and professionally while living a meaningful intercultural experience abroad.
The activity takes place in Targoviste – Dambovita, Romania, bringing volunteers into a calm town setting surrounded by local culture, active youth groups, and strong community spirit.
🌟 What You Will Do
🇪🇺 Engage in hands-on development of the new youth space “Horizons.”
👷 Assemble, organize, renovate and maintain youth facilities & green areas.
🎨 Prepare materials and support thematic workshops, youth events & activities.
🤝 Assist facilitators & contribute directly to community-building initiatives.
🌱 Promote inclusion, participation, European values & youth engagement.
🌍 Work with the local community and support Be You Association’s daily activities.
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏡 Stay in double or triple rooms in Targoviste with supermarkets, buses, pools & gyms nearby.
🍽️ Monthly pocket money + food allowance provided.
🚲 Reach activities by bike or on foot; transport is provided for long-distance work.
🎓 Training Provided
✈️ Pre-departure training by supporting & hosting organisations.
📚 On-arrival thematic training by coordinators.
💬 Romanian language lessons included.
🤝 Constant mentoring, feedback, and task preparation support.
