The internship is based within the Trade and Market Intelligence (TMI) section, responsible for global analytical tools such as Trade Map, used by thousands of analysts, policymakers, and institutions worldwide. You will contribute to the modernization of ITC’s data systems and help strengthen the data backbone behind global market intelligence.

🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Collect, evaluate, analyze, and structure international trade datasets
- Support redesign and implementation of data pipelines within Trade Map
- Strengthen data governance, monitoring, and compliance
- Assist with data flow optimization between technical units
- Participate in cross-team projects and contribute to technical enhancements
🎓 Eligibility Requirements
You must meet one of the following:
- Final-year Bachelor’s student
- Enrolled in a Master’s program
- Recently graduated (within the past year)
Relevant fields:
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- IT / Engineering
- Related technical programs
Skills:
- Python, R, or Java
- SQL basics and relational databases
- Understanding of ETL and data modeling
- Familiarity with Spark or Hadoop is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Git, Agile, CI/CD exposure preferred
- Ability to work in multicultural teams
Languages:
- English – required
- French or Spanish – desirable
