Located in Tallinn, Estonia ๐ช๐ช, the center supports children without parental care or facing behavioral and substance abuse challenges. It operates two shelters โ Lillekรผla and Mรคnni โ providing safety, emotional support, and social inclusion for children referred by police or child protection workers.
๐ก About the Project
This ESC volunteering project offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to childrenโs wellbeing and personal growth. Volunteers support staff by:
โจ Organizing creative, cultural, and sports activities
๐ฃ๏ธ Teaching languages and presenting their culture
๐จ Engaging in art, games, and outdoor activities
๐ Joining outings and daily routines to build trust and connection
Working mainly Tuesday to Saturday, volunteers bring intercultural learning, empathy, and fresh energy into the shelterโs environment.
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐๏ธ Volunteers are provided with shared or private accommodation (depending on availability).
๐ฝ๏ธ A โฌ200 food allowance and โฌ5/day pocket money are provided.
๐ International travel costs are reimbursed within ESC limits, and local transport for tasks is fully covered.
๐งญ Training & Support
๐ Volunteers take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency.
๐ฅพ EstYES also organizes group activities, hikes, and intercultural gatherings โ creating opportunities for social connection and shared learning.
