About the Opportunity

Become part of an inspiring team that supports refugees, migrants, and people from all walks of life! Train of Hope Dortmund e.V., a non-profit organization based in Dortmund, Germany, is looking for short-term ESC volunteersstarting in January 2026.

This volunteering opportunity offers you the chance to contribute to meaningful community work while developing your intercultural communication skills. Volunteers will engage in social, cultural, and educational projects that promote solidarity, equality, and integration. You’ll also have the opportunity to design and implement your own small projects within the organization — turning your ideas into real community impact.

💬 Good knowledge of English (German is a strong advantage)

💡 Flexible, proactive, and ready to learn in a multicultural environment

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Support

Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment (max. 3 volunteers) with private rooms and full facilities, located just 7 minutes away from the organization. A monthly allowance of 420 € (covering both food and pocket money) will be provided, along with a Deutschland Ticket for local and regional transportation.

All volunteers are encouraged to join language or computer courses and take part in workshops, cultural events, and learning activities organized by Train of Hope Dortmund.
