About the Opportunity

Do you want to live in a peaceful seaside village and make a meaningful impact on rural life? Join the AristoTales Organization in Stratoni, Greece, and help strengthen community bonds through creativity, social action, and inclusion!

This project focuses on supporting the rural communities of the Aristotelis Municipality in the Halkidiki region. Volunteers will organize local events, work with children, and contribute to community projects that foster youth engagement, culture, environmental awareness, and solidarity.

⏳ Duration: 35 weeks (approx. 8 months)

🎙️ Operate local web radio and create podcasts promoting social issues
🐾 Support animal protection actions with local shelters
📚 Maintain and organize the local community library in Stratoni

🧭 Ideal Participant Profile

✨ Aged 18–30, motivated to live and work in a rural environment
🌍 Open-minded, proactive, and willing to adapt to small-community life
💬 Basic level of English or Greek (for communication)
🤝 Genuinely interested in youth work, community life, and local engagement
💪 Comfortable with some physical or outdoor tasks
🎯 Passionate about social inclusion, environmental action, and local solidarity

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Support

Volunteers will stay in a fully equipped shared apartment in the village center of Stratoni, with shared bedrooms and bathrooms. They will receive monthly pocket money and food allowance in euros to cover personal needs.

All participants will receive task-related training, as well as on-arrival and mid-term trainings organized by the Greek National Agency to support their learning and adaptation.
