🌟 About the Project

Do you love working with young people, creating fun learning experiences, and building cultural bridges? ✨
This ESC volunteering project takes place in the Lycée Agricole of Soule, a rural agricultural high school in South-West France, where volunteers help bring non-formal education and intercultural energy into the school community.

As a volunteer, you’ll help students aged 15–20 discover new cultures, languages, and ideas through creative projects, leisure activities, and workshops. You’ll also support teachers in Spanish lessons, contribute to environmental and health education, and inspire young people to learn beyond the classroom walls!

📘 Your Main Tasks

  • 💬 Assist teachers during Spanish language classes and conversation sessions
  • 🌎 Promote European culture and intercultural dialogue within the school
  • 🎨 Design and lead creative workshops (art, theatre, games, culture, etc.)
  • 🧠 Support non-formal learning activities and student clubs
  • 🌱 Participate in educational projects on health, environment & sustainability
  • ⚽ Organize sports and leisure events for the boarding students (approx. 300 young people)
  • 🧭 Help prepare students for Erasmus+ training placements abroad
  • 📚 Contribute to the school’s documentation center by providing educational resources about Europe

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

  • 🏠 Two volunteers will share a fully equipped apartment near the school
  • 🍽️ Meals can be taken at the school + an additional monthly food budget provided
  • 🚗 A car is available for errands and exploring the region
  • 💶 All living costs are covered by the hosting organization

🎓 Training & Language Support

  • 🇫🇷 French language lessons offered at the school
  • 🧭 On-arrival and mid-term training organized by the French National Agency
  • 🤝 Tutoring and support provided by Pistes-Solidaires and local mentors
  • 🌍 Join a network of ESC volunteers in the region for intercultural learning opportunities

👥 Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for 2 motivated volunteers aged 18–30 who are:

  • ✨ Open-minded and socially active
  • 💡 Creative and ready to design fun, non-formal learning activities
  • 💬 Fluent in Spanish (to support language teaching)
  • 🚗 Hold a valid driving license (mandatory!)
  • 🌍 Interested in education, youth work, and cultural exchange
  • 🤗 Able to build positive relationships and inspire young people
