🌿 About the Project: Embark on a unique volunteering experience in Bordano, Italy, with “Farfalle nella Testa.” Dive into the management of a butterfly house and engage in environmental education activities. Support staff during guided tours, workshops, and events. Participate in creating and planning events, assist in maintaining the Butterfly House, care for plants and insects, and contribute ideas and experiences to enhance the project.
🏡 Accommodation, Food, and Transport:
- Volunteers stay in a three-floor house with single or shared bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, and garden.
- Provided with money for food shopping.
- Pocket money: 5 euros/day
- Refunded travel expenses based on EU commission guidelines.
🎓 Training:
- On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency.
- On arrival training with the volunteers, coordinator, and mentor of Farfalle nella Testa.
👤 Ideal Volunteer Profile:
- Nature and animal lover.
- Willing to engage in manual work and environmental care.
- Comfortable living in an isolated village.
- Scientific background or experience in environmental education/horticulture is a plus.
- Respectful, patient, creative, communicative, open-minded, positive, proactive, adaptable, good time management skills.
