Youth Works Hub has picked 16 fully funded ESC volunteering placements for 2026 in 11 countries: Albania, Czechia, Finland, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Tรผrkiye. Every call is a European Solidarity Corps placement for young people who want to volunteer abroad, from youth work and education to eco-building, refugee inclusion and humanitarian aid. Eight of the 16 calls are open as soon as possible, and Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Tรผrkiye each host two placements. Each call has its own angle:

Taken together, the batch suits young people who want a long-term placement in youth work, education or social care, or a shorter green or community project. European Solidarity Corps volunteering is fully funded: travel, accommodation, food, pocket money and insurance are covered. According to Youth Works Hub's review, none of the 16 listings mentions a participation fee. Eight calls are open as soon as possible, the first dated deadline is the eco-village in Greece on 20 October 2026, and the habitat restoration team in Spain stays open until 27 November 2026.

Who can apply for these ESC placements in Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Tรผrkiye?
Fifteen calls are open to young people aged 18 to 30, and the Guatemala humanitarian aid placement to those aged 18 to 35. The Guatemala placement is open to 37 countries and the eco-village in Megalopoli and the Baia Mare placement to 33 each, while the habitat restoration team in Vilamarxant is open to 13 countries. The peer mentoring placement in Braga is open only to residents of Portugal, and the Tirana placement only to residents of Italy. Some calls also ask for skills or languages, such as monitoring and evaluation experience with Spanish and English in Guatemala, or kindergarten or camp experience in Puลtusk. Eight calls are listed as "As soon as possible!": both Siirt placements in Tรผrkiye, both Braga placements in Portugal, Puลtusk in Poland, Baia Mare in Romania, Guatemala City and Tirana. Among the dated calls, the eco-village in Megalopoli closes first on 20 October 2026, followed by Athens on 25 October, Forlรฌ and Muonio on 26 October, and Plasenzuela, Tramonti and Nรกchod on 31 October, while the habitat restoration team in Vilamarxant stays open until 27 November.
