Logos NGO is running "Facilitate to Participate", an Erasmus+ Training Course for youth workers in Mosina, Poland, open to 32 countries, with no fixed application deadline, so applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. At Youth Works Hub, we went through the infopack because this course is built around a skill most youth workers pick up by accident rather than by training: facilitation itself.
This is not about becoming a better public speaker. It is about learning to read a room, hold a space, and adjust when the group in front of you does not behave the way the plan assumed it would.
What the Course Sets Out to Do
This training course brings together youth workers and educators who want to become more confident and creative facilitators. Through practical exercises, group work and hands-on learning, participants will explore how to create engaging learning spaces, support participation and cooperation, and respond to different group dynamics.
π³ The programme combines indoor and outdoor activities, experiential learning and opportunities to practise facilitation in a safe and supportive international environment.
Seven Objectives
π§ To strengthen youth workers' facilitation competences and enable them to design and guide meaningful learning processes with young people.
π To deepen participants' understanding of facilitation and the role of the facilitator in supporting participation, cooperation and learning in youth work.
π To strengthen practical facilitation competences, including active listening, questioning, communication, group decision-making and participation methods.
β‘ To increase participants' capacity to recognise and respond to group dynamics, conflicts, resistance and other challenging situations.
ποΈ To develop participants' ability to design structured, engaging and participant-centred learning activities.
π To introduce and practise experiential, creative and outdoor approaches to learning, reflection and facilitation.
π To provide opportunities for participants to practise facilitation skills and create educational activities that could be applied back home.
The Trainers
π§βπ« Emir Shevkiev has been working in the NGO field since 2005, and a trainer for over 10 years both in the NGO and business worlds. He is interested in non-formal education, critical thinking, media literacy, new technologies and soft skills development.
π MaΕgorzata Kurczewska is a youth worker and ESC coordinator at Logos NGO, with experience in Erasmus+ projects, international group facilitation and building partnerships. She is currently studying psychology and brings a creative perspective through theatre and improvisation.

Where You'd Be Staying
π² Stacja Ekologiczna w Jeziorach in Mosino offers accommodation for up to 40 people, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as shared bathroom facilities. Its biggest advantage is the unique location in the heart of Wielkopolska National Park, surrounded by impressive oak and beech trees and situated directly by the shore of Lake GΓ³reckie.
π₯Ύ A hiking trail starts just outside the station, leading to some of the most beautiful natural and historical spots in the area.
Travel Reimbursement, by Distance Band
Travel is reimbursed within six weeks after the project by bank transfer in euros. The travel distance represents a single-way distance from your place of origin to the venue, and the amount covers the contribution to the return journey.
π 10 to 99 km: β¬56 green travel, β¬28 non-green travel.
π 100 to 499 km: β¬285 green travel, β¬211 non-green travel.
βοΈ 500 to 1999 km: β¬417 green travel, β¬309 non-green travel.
π 2000 to 2999 km: β¬535 green travel, β¬395 non-green travel.
π The official Erasmus+ distance calculator is used to check your band. When choosing green travel, the maximum allowance per participant can be raised further, contact projects@logos.ngo for details.
β οΈ Keep every receipt and ticket. You have to participate in all the sessions of the training to get the reimbursement.
Arrival, Departure and Extra Days
ποΈ Arrival day is 19 October, and you should plan your trip so that you arrive in Mosino by 18:00. Departure day is 26 October.
π° The local currency is the Polish zloty, easy to exchange, pay in cash, or use a card.
ποΈ You may arrive in PoznaΕ up to two days before the project or stay up to two days after, at your own expense.

No. Applications for this training course are reviewed as they come in, so there is no fixed cut-off date.
Who can apply?
Youth workers, facilitators, organisers and team leaders aged 18 and older, from any of the 32 eligible countries, comfortable working in English.
