🇬🇷 Erasmus+ Training Course in Greece 🎲 Escape Games Role Play and Mythology for Inclusion 🏛️

Description

This training course will offer an immersive experiential journey to the world of Inclusion through role playing, escape game mechanics, and a gamified educational approach of Greek mythology.

Aim

The aim of this TC is to equip youth workers and practitioners with adventurous, game-based, and digital tools to understand diversity, embrace inclusion, cultivate empathy, combat social exclusion, and enhance active youth participation. Participants will have the opportunity to experience innovative non-formal learning methodologies and learn how to adapt these adventure-based tools for their own local youth work context.

Objectives

- Deepen comprehension of key inclusion challenges (like gender roles, sexual identities, disability, mental health, and privilege) through mythological and modern storytelling.

- Explore and experience role playing, interactive quests and escape game dynamics tailored for non-formal educational settings.

- Learn how to combine game based learning with non-formal methodology to diversify educational methods and increase young people's engagement.

- Develop practical skills in detecting social injustices, recognizing under-representation, and balancing power dynamics within group settings.

- Exchange good practices, build partnerships, and co-create new activity formats for future national or international initiatives.

Important to know

The working language will be (international) English. Your English does not have to be perfect, but you need to be able to follow presentations and have discussions in English.

You will be by default accommodated in twin rooms (a great opportunity to get to know a colleague/fellow youth worker better), but if you have a specific reason to have a single room, we can cater for that.
