Screenwriting for social change: 10-week programme mixing creative writing, personal reflections, filmmaking & group dialogue. Develop your authentic story and create a purpose-driven short film.

Screenwriting for social change is a 10โ€“week programme designed for aspiring visual storytellers who want to express their thoughts and emotions about the world through Screenwriting and Filmmaking

In this course, you will learn how to create the story you need to tell. Identifying what is your story about? Who are your characters? What world do they live in and how does it shape them?, exploring all the foundational elements that make up a well-crafted story. At the end of the course, you will be supported in developing your script and turning it into a short movie.

The course will use a safe space of facilitated dialogue to allow deep personal and group reflections, for everyone to explore themselves and ask โ€˜โ€™Who am I? How does my world shape me?โ€™โ€™ while developing the characters and designing the worlds of their own story.
