TTT Tierra Techo Trabajo is offering an internship within a network of partners in the tourism, cultural heritage and visitor experience sectors of Agrigento, Sicily. Based on your profile and interests, you'll be assigned to one of two tracks. Youth Works Hub has set out both tracks and everything you need to apply below.
About the Internship
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as an intern across tourism, cultural heritage and visitor services in Agrigento. It's ideal for students or graduates interested in tourism, cultural activities, communication and visitor services, and you'll be placed in a specific role based on your profile, skills and interests.
Track 1: Cultural Sites and Visitor Experience
Suited to candidates interested in cultural heritage, museums, events and direct interaction with visitors.
🏛️ Welcome and support visitors at cultural and tourism sites, and provide information about exhibitions, locations and ongoing activities
🎓 Support educational activities, workshops and group experiences, especially with school groups, and assist or lead guided visits
🎶 Help coordinate visitor flow and group logistics, and support cultural events (music, astronomy, seasonal events)
🖥️ Assist with front office activities and general visitor services, and contribute to promoting cultural activities and thematic experiences
Ideal profile: studies in Tourism, Cultural Heritage, History, Archaeology, Communication or related fields; a strong interest in culture, history and working with the public; good communication skills; comfortable speaking to small groups; flexible; additional languages a plus.
Track 2: Tourism Services and Travel Agency Support
Suited to candidates interested in tourism operations, customer service and travel planning, with less emphasis on cultural guiding.
🧳 Assist in front office activities and customer reception, and support travel planning and booking processes
🗺️ Help organise itineraries, tours and tourism services, and provide information and assistance to clients on travel options and local experiences
🗂️ Assist with administrative tasks and documentation, and support coordination of tourism services and client requests
📣 Contribute to communication and promotional activities, and support the daily operations of the agency
Ideal profile: studies in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related fields; interest in tourism services, travel planning and customer relations; strong organisational and communication skills; comfortable in a structured, service-oriented environment; basic digital skills.

Eligibility
✅ You must be eligible for the Erasmus+ programme
✅ You are able to join in Agrigento for at least 4 months
✅ You have at least a B1 level in English (knowledge of other languages is appreciated)
The internship is around 35 hours per week.
